My client is seeking a Senior Procurement & Supply Chain Coordinator to take ownership of key aspects of their supply chain and logistics operations and contribute to the success of a fast-paced and evolving environment. This is a fantastic opportunity to work with a collaborative team and take on responsibilities that will shape the future of their supply chain processes.
Your new role:
As the Senior Procurement and Supply Chain Coordinator, you will be the key point of contact for thepany's critical suppliers, ensuring timely material delivery and resolving supply chain and logistics challenges to meet contractual obligations and tight timescales. You will also have some responsibility for stock control, whereby you will oversee accurate inventory management, ensuring stock levels align with demand and operational needs.
In this role you will prepare and present reports for the Operations Team, supporting regular reporting duties and offering insights into supply chain performance. You will build strong relationships with suppliers, internal teams, and key stakeholders to ensure smooth operations and consistent supply chain performance. This may involve European travel to meet with key suppliers and build rapport. As the Procurement & Supply Chain Coordinator, you will work closely with the procurement and warehouse teams to ensure seamless processes, from purchase orders to warehouse operations.
What you need to succeed:
1. Proven experience in procurement, supply chain, and logistics coordination within a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
2. Good understanding of SAP and how to leverage it to improve processes and inventory management.
3. Strong experience with problem-solving techniques and the ability to manage challenges under pressure.
4. Stakeholder / supplier relationship management skills - this is super important in this role!
5. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel to analyse and manipulate data effectively.
6. German language skills are highly desirable (a huge advantage!)
7. Amercial mindset with the ability to think critically and prioritise tasks.
8. Strongmunication skills with the ability to interact effectively with all levels of stakeholders.
9. Exceptional organisational and time-management abilities, with a keen eye for detail.
