This is a full-time, term-time role ideal for someone who wants to gain hands-on experience in a classroom before progressing into teacher training, educational psychology, or SEN-focused careers.
Key Responsibilities:
Support students with special educational needs (SEN) across KS3 and KS4
Deliver one-to-one and small group interventions
Assist teachers in mainstream classrooms to ensure inclusive learning
Help implement individual education plans (IEPs)
Promote positive behaviour and emotional wellbeing
Person Specification:
Degree-level qualification
Passion for education and supporting young people
Interest in SEN, inclusion, or educational psychology
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Previous experience working with children or young people is desirable
