A leading blue‑chip main contractor is looking for a Site Engineer to join their team on a £70m new build school project in Essex.
Responsibilities
* Setting out externals and structural frame
* Reading and interpreting drawings to ensure accurate setting out
* Checking and verifying subcontractor engineers' work
* Maintaining QA records and supporting the site team
* Ensuring works are delivered to programme, quality, and safety standards
Requirements
* Experience as a Site Engineer with a main contractor
* Strong setting out experience (externals and frame)
* Experience overseeing/checking subcontractor engineers
* Competent with surveying equipment
