ASAP startA brilliant opportunity has become available to join a lovely primary school in Wandsworth as a SEN Teaching Assistant in KS1 starting ASAP.
The Role
In this role, you will be working 1:1 with a child in Year 1 with Autism and associated needs. The child often learns outside of the classroom and requires a high level of support with learning. They follow a personalised curriculum and require support particularly with phonics.
The school are looking for an experienced Teaching Assistant who has supported children with a range of SEND, is reliable and committed in order to give the child consistency. Initiative and the ability to use a range of strategies to engage children, offer clear expectations and a positive approach are also essential.
This role is to start ASAP and is offered on a full-time contract until the end of the academic year (to July 2026).

This community-focused primary school opened in 2020 and offers a bilingual education, combining the National Curriculum with Portuguese language instruction provided by specialists. The school is growing steadily, currently catering to pupils from Reception to Year 5.
