About the Role
The Deputy Manager will report to the Registered Manager and is responsible for delivering high standards of care in accordance with MMCG policies and procedures and all external regulatory requirements.
This includes the efficient and effective day-to-day running of the Home, developing exceptional personalised services for every service user and their loved ones, managing all staff, and fostering positive working relations with external stakeholders. This is a fundamental role within social care.
This role is ideal for a Senior Carer seeking to progress into a leadership position or an existing Deputy Manager ready for a new challenge.

About You
We are looking for a Deputy Manager with the following skills, qualifications, and experience:
* A qualified RGN/RMN/RNLD with a valid NMC pin number
* Previous experience as a deputy manager in a care home environment is desirable but not essential.
* A committed and organised approach.
* Excellent communication skills with experience in leading and motivating staff.
* A good understanding of regulatory compliance and the ability to demonstrate delivery of quality care.

Carmel Lodge
Carmel Lodge is located on the edge of Poynton, conveniently accessible by car. The M60 motorway and the A34 provide easy access for visitors. Local amenities include shops, a library, hairdressers, a surgery, a pharmacy, and a pub, all within a short walk. Built in 2006, this privately owned home offers residential dementia care for 36 residents. All bedrooms are single with en-suite facilities, and each floor has assisted showers and bathrooms. Rooms are fully carpeted, decorated to a high standard, and equipped with a TV point, nurse call system, telephone point, fire detection, bed, wardrobe, armchair, chest of drawers, and thermostatic central heating with safety guards. Residents can enjoy the well-maintained garden, large patio, landscaped gardens, and conservatory. Parking is available for 12 cars.
