We are currently looking for a Design Manager who will to effectively and professionally lead day to day Design Management of our data centre projects
As the Design Manager, you will:
1. Support MEP Design Management
2. Support Design Deep Dive reviews.
3. Support tender applications and PCSA periods. Act as a focal point to disseminate lessons learned from other projects and encourage standardisation of approaches. Ensure all Skanska minimum standards are met at the design stages.
4. Add value to the design process by challenging solutions, methods and techniques where appropriate to improve build ability and reduce whole life costs.
5. Promote effective Design Management processes and use of CDE platforms through design stages and project delivery
We are looking for:
6. Expert understanding and experience of Design Management
7. Expert understanding and experience in BS 7671 18th Edition
8. Good understanding of Building Safety Act
9. Good Understanding of Building Regulations
10. Working Knowledge of CDE, BIM & Design Coordination software
