The vacancy
We have an exciting opportunity for two Electrician-Approved professionals to join our Repairs & Maintenance Team, covering our housing portfolio in Herefordshire or Shropshire.
You will be responsible for various electrical workstreams, including repairs and maintenance, inspection and testing, and capital investment projects such as kitchens and rewires. The role requires demonstrating experience in customer service and enhancing the customer experience.
You should be capable of working independently or as part of a team focused on delivering excellent service and ensuring electrical compliance.
Qualifications and Experience
* Qualified to the latest BS7671 IET Wiring Standards
* NVQ Level 3 Electrical Installation or equivalent
* Completed AM2 Assessments
* Working towards C&G 2391 Inspection & Testing (or equivalent)
* Minimum of two years' experience as a qualified electrician
Additional qualifications or experience in renewable technologies would be advantageous but are not required.
Candidates must hold a full driving license and be willing to participate in an on-call rota for emergency cover, which is paid additionally.
