SEN Teaching Assistant
Salary Scale: £13.68 to £14.88 per hour
Start Date: ASAP/ September 2025

GSL Education is currently seeking a dedicated SEN Teaching Assistant to join a specialist school in Cosham that supports pupils aged 11 to 16 with a range of complex learning difficulties, including:
Autism Spectrum Conditions (ASC)
Speech, Language and Communication Needs (SLCN)
Medical and Physical Conditions
As an SEN Teaching Assistant, you’ll play a vital role in supporting pupils with a wide range of needs by working closely with teaching staff, therapists, and families to encourage independence through life skills and preparation for adulthood, support learning through the arts and outdoor education, help pupils build confidence and self-esteem, promote a positive, safe, and welcoming environment, and inspire a genuine enjoyment of learning that lasts a lifetime.
