Overview
Community Integrated Care is a UK health and social care charity focused on empowering people with care needs. This vacancy is for waking nights only (8pm–8am), part time. The service supports 4 people with learning disabilities, physical and visual disabilities, and mobility needs, promoting choices, wellbeing and independence. The people supported engage in activities such as day trips, local community access, shopping, holidays and meals out.
We are seeking caring, compassionate and talented Support Workers who are engaging, resilient and able to go the extra mile for the people we support. Training, support and personal protective equipment will be provided, with development opportunities if you decide to advance your career with us.
Responsibilities
* Spend your whole shift with the person you support, making the biggest impact on their lives
* Support people with learning disabilities, physical and visual disabilities and mobility needs
* Encourage and facilitate activities in the community and in daily routines, supporting choices, wellbeing and independence
* Engage in conversations, maintain a positive and resilient approach, and uphold the values of the service
