The Dundee and Angus ADHD Support Group are seeking a youth activities worker for our Dundee youth group.
The successful candidate will be an enthusiastic and passionate member of staff who will be committed to the impact that youth work can play in making a difference to the lives of our young people.
We expect our youth workers to bring new and innovative ideas to youth work.
Experience in working with children in a youth work environment is essential.
Experience working with children with ADHD would be beneficial but there will be an opportunity to take part in training.
Youth groups will be held on Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Friday evenings.

Key Skills, Knowledge and Experience required:
* Understanding and experience of working with children and young people with the condition ADHD would be beneficial.
* Experience working with children and young people.
* Working within a youth group setting previously would be advantageous.
* Strong communication skills, and able to show empathy and understanding to others around them.
* Has a flexible approach.
* Good organisation skills, including time management and the ability to work under pressure
* Successful applicant must be able to become part of the PVG Scheme.
* Willingness to share any talents you have (art/musical) with the youth group children would be a bonus
