About the Role
This is more than a clinical role – it’s a platform for professional fulfillment and personal growth. You will assist dentists during a wide range of clinical procedures, prepare and maintain dental instruments, uphold infection control standards, provide reassurance to patients, and support administrative tasks.

* 11 surgeries computerised with Dentally software
* OPG machine, intra‑oral x‑ray machines and intra‑oral camera shared between surgeries; rotary for endo, motor, MOS, airflow, piezo, Nobel‑BioCare implant kit
* Specialist practice: MOS and sedation, implants, endo, Invisalign, Smile Makers & composite bonding
* Belper Train station 10 minutes walk
* A38 access from Birmingham/Burton/Derby/Nottingham/Mansfield
* On‑site parking limited to 11 spaces (first‑come first‑served); pay‑and‑display car parking opposite practice; free car parking 5 minutes walk away
* Belper is a town in Amber Valley, Derbyshire, known for its rich history as a mill town and its vibrant market square. Located in the scenic Derwent Valley, close to the Peak District and on the Derwent River.
What You’ll Be Doing
* Assist dentists during a wide range of clinical procedures
* Prepare and maintain dental instruments, equipment, and materials
* Uphold high standards of infection control and surgery cleanliness
* Provide reassurance and support to patients throughout their visitMaintain accurate patient records and manage administrative tasks
* Promote and advise patients on oral health and dental care products
* Play an important role in creating a friendly, welcoming atmosphere for patients and the team
Skills & Attributes We’re Looking For
* Qualified and GDC‑registered Dental Nurse
* Confident and professional communication skills
* Strong attention to detail and excellent organisational skills
* Comfortable working in a clinical environment, including procedures where you may see blood or surgical treatments
* Ability to work well both independently and as part of a team
* A caring, compassionate approach towards patients and colleagues
* A proactive attitude towards learning and professional development
