Forensic Occupational Therapy Team Leader
We have an excellent opportunity for a dynamic, forward‑thinking occupational therapist to join our well‑established Occupational Therapy Team within the Forensics Team as a team leader.
Job Overview
The post holder will provide clinical and professional leadership and be responsible for day‑to‑day operational management of the team. A clear understanding of occupational therapy in an inpatient setting is required.
Main Duties
* Lead the occupational therapy team, supervising staff, managing caseload and ensuring high‑quality patient care.
* Initiate and implement service changes, supporting team development through supervision and appraisal.
* Communicate effectively to forge working relationships, challenge current practice and develop innovative solutions to improve patient outcomes.
* Balance team leadership with clinical responsibilities, using strong organisational and time‑management skills.
Qualifications and Experience
- Demonstrable experience within community or inpatient services.
- Highly specialist clinical, managerial and leadership skills.
- Excellent organisational and time‑management skills.
- Ability to speak Welsh is desirable; Welsh and/or English speakers are equally welcome.
