Job Title: Nurse Specialist CAMHS
Location: West Lothian Out-Patient Team, St. John’s Hospital Livingston
Hours: 37 hours per week (part‑time hours considered, salary pro‑rata)
Key Responsibilities
* Provide specialist nursing care to children and young people with mental health problems and neurodevelopmental disorders.
* Assess and treat a range of mental health presentations including eating disorders, mood and psychotic disorders, and neurodevelopmental disorders.
* Take part in the NES “New to CAMHS” training over a 12‑month period.
* Attend internal and external training events organised by NHS Lothian CAMHS.
Qualifications & Experience
* Registered mental health or learning disability nurse.
* Experience in CAMHS or related clinical setting.
* PVG Scheme membership/record for the required regulatory group (child and/or adult).
