Responsibilities
* To work within the English team to proactively raise learner aspirations and improve achievements for all learners from their starting points
* To conduct initial and diagnostic assessments of all learners to determine starting points and develop learning plans to enable them to make progress from their starting points
* To conduct milestone assessments as agreed with the Head of English and provide feedback within the agreed timescale, ensuring feedback supports learners to improve

To become a Lecturer in our English department, we need someone who is passionate about literature and language, committed to student success, experienced in academic research, and capable of inspiring critical thinking and creativity in the classroom. The successful candidate will have the chance to acquire new skills and develop their abilities in a wide range of activities.
