Cover Supervisor- West Bromwich
We are seeking a reliable and proactive Cover Supervisor to support one of our partner schools in the West Bromwich area. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who enjoys working in a school environment and is committed to maintaining a positive and productive classroom atmosphere when teachers are absent.
The ideal candidate will be organised, confident, and able to manage a variety of classes across different subjects. Whether you’re looking for full-time or part-time hours, we are flexible and eager to find the right match for both you and the school.
Key Responsibilities:
* Supervise classes in the absence of the regular teacher, following provided lesson plans
* Maintain a positive and disciplined learning environment
* Support students with tasks and ensure work completion
* Report any behavioural or learning issues to the relevant teaching staff
* Assist with administrative duties as needed
* Work collaboratively with teaching and support staff to ensure smooth school operations

* Contract Type: Full-time or Part-time (flexible)
* Start Date: ASAP or September start (negotiable)
* Salary: Competitive, based on experience and responsibilities
Role Requirements:
* Experience working in a school or educational setting preferred
* Strong classroom management skills
* Excellent communication and organisational abilities
* Ability to adapt quickly and remain calm under pressure
* Enhanced DBS on the update service (or willingness to obtain one)
