Offer description

An opportunity has arisen in our Customer Support team, based at our Starbeck site, Harrogate and we are looking for 5 full time (or equivalent part time hours e.g. 2 people working 2/3 days) Customer Support Advisors to join us to support in the Christmas period.

This fixed term contract will start on 10th November and finish on 24th December 2025.

As a Customer Support Advisor, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional customer service and support to our online, Cookery School, and Café Tea Room customers. You will process orders by phone and email, providing advice on products and services as required. You will also deal with any queries, taking ownership and resolving issues efficiently and professionally, ensuring the best possible outcome for our customers.

The full-time role is 37.5 hours a week, 5 days over 6 (Monday-Saturday). Saturdays on a rota basis. If you would like to discuss flexible working patterns, please provide more details in your application.

About you

We are looking for the following skills and experience:

* Some experience of delivering exceptional customer service over the telephone and email or face to face.
* Excellent telephone manner
* Strong communication skills - both oral and written
* Ability to work well in a team environment
* Experience of working to and achieving targets
* Good IT skills and experience of Microsoft Office including Word, Excel, Outlook and ideally knowledge of Zendesk and Magento (not essential)
