The Role
They’re hiring their first dedicated Paid Search Lead to own and scale Google Ads and YouTube paid acquisition.
This is a high-impact builder role with real ownership and budget responsibility across Search, Shopping, Performance Max, and YouTube. The core challenge is scaling a 5,000+ SKU catalog efficiently.
They’re looking for someone who understands how to make Google Ads work at true catalog scale. You’ll have dedicated in-house creative and freelance video support, plus direct access to a founder-led team.

What You’ll Own
* End-to-end Google Ads strategy: (Search, Shopping, Performance Max, YouTube)
* Feed strategy for a 5,000+ SKU catalog
* Campaign architecture and bid strategy
* Budget allocation across campaigns and product groups
* ROAS, MER, and incremental revenue targets
* Creative briefing for YouTube and visual search campaigns
* Weekly and monthly reporting with leadership
* Hiring roadmap for future paid search team expansion
Must-Have Experience
* 5+ years managing Google Ads for DTC ecommerce brands or ecommerce-focused agencies
* Personally managed $1M+/month in Google Ads spend
* Experience with high-SKU catalogs: 1,000+ SKUs required (5,000+ strongly preferred)
Deep expertise in:
* Shopping campaigns
* Performance Max
* Feed optimization
* YouTube paid acquisition
Hands-on experience with feed management tools such as:
* DataFeedWatch
* Channable
* Google Merchant Center
* Similar platforms
Strong analytical and commercial thinking:
* ROAS
* MER
* Incrementality
* Cohort analysis
Strong Plus
* Experience at a $50M+ DTC ecommerce brand
* Background in visually driven consumer categories: (Home décor, Furniture, Lifestyle, Personalized products)
* Premium consumer goods
* International market experience (US + EU)
* Experience scaling paid search spend beyond $2M/month
