Salary: £45,000 – 50,000 + Benefits


This role would suit a skilled test development engineer with experience in the design and development of test systems, running test and the analysis & documentation of test data for electromechanical automotive components.

This test development engineer role offers the chance to join a growing technology company developing advanced electromechanical and electric motor / electric drive systems for electric vehicles and industrial applications. They seek an experienced test development engineer with experience that includes:


* Definition, development, planning and implementation of automotive tests for either electric motors, brakes, gears, infotainment/instrument cluster, drives etc
* The development of test requirements in conjunction with DVP and FMEAs
* Setting up of test cells using LabVIEW, ensuring appropriate test equipment is available & building test rigs and execution of the tests
* Analysis of test data and feeding back into the product development process
* Use of 8D or similar problem solving and failure resolution tools.
