About the Role
Technical Delivery Installations Manager This is not your average delivery manager role. This is full-spectrum leadership of the entire technical lifecyclefrom drawing board to client handshake. Youll manage internal coordination, external contractors, equipment readiness, compliance standards, and customer success. Youll work hand-in-hand with planning teams, helpdesk operations, engineers and installers, while also supporting innovation, futureproofing, and the strategic growth of the business. The
Technical Delivery Installations Manager
will be site-based when needed, travelling regularly with some overnight stays, ensuring standards are kept, problems are solved, and delivery never slips.
Key Responsibilities Own the full technical delivery of national fire and security installation projects totalling £6m+ per year Guarantee every install meets NSI Gold and industry standards, on time and in budget Support planning and scheduling for field teams to ensure maximum resource efficiency Oversee equipment readiness, cabinet build and stock availability before every project launch Provide engineers and subcontractors with real-time technical support across all systems Conduct regular site visits for quality assurance, client updates, and installation sign-off Collaborate with sales and design teams to ensure feasibility and smooth handover Improve and optimise the project delivery model as the business continues to grow Shape the operational structure and long-term success of installation delivery across the UK
What We're Looking For Proven track record in
technical delivery of security and fire systems
(electrical, CCTV, intruder, access control, and fire detection) Project management experience across
£5m+ annual installations Strong knowledge of
NSI Gold
and compliance frameworks Confident managing subcontractors and multi-site delivery operations Ability to lead internal teams and engage with external stakeholders at all levels Excellent communication, coordination and problem-solving skills Full UK driving licence and flexibility to travel with occasional overnight stays Bonus if youve used CRM, scheduling or job management software Even better if youve driven
