Position Summary:
Axel Dance Academy is a dance studio housed inside of the YMCA. We are looking for instructors to join our 2025-2026 dance season. Our goal is to create a loving environment for our dancers. We offer both competitive and recreational dance.

Position Summary:
Axel Dance Academy is a dance studio housed inside of the YMCA. We are looking for instructors to join our 2025-2026 dance season. Our goal is to create a loving environment for our dancers. We offer both competitive and recreational dance.
Essential Functions:
* Demonstrates proper technique and routines for class participation.
* Strong instructing skills that can help implement a strong program.
* Experienced and knowledge for dance including the ability to choreograph
* Strong classroom management
* Identify and address participant safety concerns

Qualifications:
* Multi-genre preferred (ballet, jazz, tap, acro, contemporary, pointe) etc.
* Must enjoy working with children ages 2 and older, beginner through advanced levels.
* Available to work Monday to Saturday
Physical Demands:
* Required to physically perform and communicate exercise routines
* Ability to react to emergency situations by quick movements
