Job Description
3. Line manage a team of Finance Assistants, ensuring performance and development
4. Oversee OPEX and CAPEX processes across multiple sites
5. Deliver accurate month-end reporting, audits, and financial returns
6. Conduct in-depth financial analysis and benchmarking
7. Drive process improvements using advanced Excel skills
8. Collaborate with senior leaders and academy finance leads
The Successful Applicant
A successful PQ Finance Manager should have:
9. Part-qualified ACCA/CIMA (or equivalent)
10. Proven experience managing a finance team (ideally 5+)
11. Strong knowledge of OPEX/CAPEX controls
12. Advanced Excel skills (VLOOKUP, SUMIFS; macros desirable)
13. Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to work at pace
14. Adaptable and quick learner (academy trust experience desirable)
