Teacher of Design and Technology- Manchester
Pay: £ 168- £260 per day (depending on experience)
Contract: Full-time, Long-term, temp to perm.
Start: 5th January 2026
Prospero are recruiting for a passionate and dedicated Design and Technology Teacher to join a high performing academy school community in Manchester.
This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced teacher or an ECT looking to begin their teaching career in a well-resourced, forward-thinking environment.
As a Teacher of Design and Technology, you will play a key role in inspiring and engaging pupils through creative and inclusive teaching.

Key Responsibilities:
1. Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging lessons aligned with the national curriculum
2. Differentiate learning to meet the needs of all pupils, including those with additional needs
3. Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment that promotes progress and wellbeing
4. Monitor and assess pupil progress, providing constructive feedback and support
5. Collaborate with colleagues, support staff, and parents to ensure each child reaches their full potential
6. Contribute to school life through involvement in extracurricular activities and initiatives
The ideal Teacher of Design and Technology will:
7. Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or be an ECT with placement experience
8. Demonstrate a genuine passion for teaching and child development
9. Be confident in behaviour management and classroom organisation
10. Bring creativity, enthusiasm, and strong communication skills to the role
11. Have a commitment to raising achievement and supporting the wider school community
