Our lovely Client based in Bromsgrove is currently recruiting for an experienced Conveyancing Legal Secretary to carry out the following: Assist with the drafting of SDLTs, Replies to Requisitions and Transfer Deeds, deal with basic enquiries, produce case management letters and deal with all AML on-boarding procedures. You will also have responsibility for opening and closing files, speaking with agents and clients over the telephone to provide updates and deal with all other duties associated with a Residential Conveyancing Secretary / Paralegal position. Excellent telephone, inter-personal and typing skills are required and you must be able to prioritise work in a confidential, timely and effective manner using a high degree of self-management and initiative. Being able to work to tight deadlines is also essential as this is a very busy department, as is the ability to work independently and as part of a wider team. Strong IT skills using Microsoft Office and case management systems are also essential. It is that you have a of 3-4 years’ experience and a good working knowledge of Residential Conveyancing matters. The successful candidate run their own caseload or work in a fee earning capacity, but will provide direct support to the Head of Property Services at the Bromsgrove office and work alongside them throughout the residential conveyancing process. Hours of work are 9.am-5.pm Monday to Friday, with the role being on-site - remote working not being applicable to this role.
