Job Description
Working within Assure, this role will report to the Finance Manager, LGC Assure.
Responsibilities will include but not be limited to:
4. Ownership of overheads cost centre accounting (journal posting, P&L review, BS reconciliation). Co-ordination of monthly balance sheet review process.
5. Responsible for overseeing the accounts receivable collection and developing project plan to reduce AR turnover, collections and DSO.
6. Responsible for accurate and 5 business day month-end close.
7. Accountable for preparation of month-end financial reports and issuing to appropriate personnel in a timely manner.
8. Maintain the integrity and accuracy of all financial data in accounting system.
9. Reports, analyzes, and interprets financial, sales and operating data for management.
10. Prepares, reviews, and interprets data for inclusion in financial reports, statements, and summaries.
11. Reviews financial data for accuracy; identifies and resolves problems and inconsistencies, determines appropriate corrective action, and supports day-to-day operations.
12. Analyze and monitor monthly financial results against budget.
13. Ensure compliance with internal controls, company policies and procedures and Accounting Standards.
14. Assists with the preparation of annual budgets and quarterly forecasting.
15. Participates in the execution of annual external audits.
16. Assists with related special projects as required.
Qualifications
17. Part qualified ACCA/ACA/CIMA with at least 3 years experience in a similar role in a fast paced, commercial environment.
18. Strong business & commercial acumen and stakeholder management
19. Personable, with a strong commitment to team outcomes
20. Excellent written communication and presentation skills
21. Self-starter. Able to get up to speed quickly and operate effectively in a fast paced and demanding environment
22. Personally credible, taking responsibility and ownership
23. Organised and good attention to detail
24. Confident in basic to intermediate MS Excel techniques (pivot tables, VLUP, SUMIF etc)
25. Experience is using systems such as IFS, Business Objects & Tableau preferred but not essential.
