Job Role Female PA needed for kind lady with Autism in Bedford ref AA-BB-001 Job Description The successful PA will support a female client to live independently, build confidence, and develop daily living skills through a person-centred, strengths-based and recovery-focused approach. Building rapport and a trusting working relationship is essential. Contract Type Part Time Permanent Roles and Responsibilities Monitoring, ordering, and overseeing medication compliance Prompting and encouragement with personal care Meal planning, preparation, and batch cooking Supporting with household tasks including laundry and maintaining a clean living environment Promoting social inclusion and supporting the client to access the community Specific Requirements Female PA (as permitted under the Equality Act for personal care) Understanding of, or willingness to learn about, trauma-informed practice and autism Reliable, empathetic, and able to work in a supportive, empowering manner Committed to promoting independence and recovery Required Training We are looking for a PA who is either trained in trauma-informed care and autism, or willing to undertake relevant training.
