This is a developmental role, providing hands-on experience across transport compliance and operations, with the intention that the post holder will undertake CPC qualification within approximately 3 years and progress into a Transport Compliance Manager position.

As a Transport Supervisor at GES, you will support the safe, legal and efficient operation of the company's transport activities by assisting the Transport Manager with compliance, administration and day-to-day supervision of drivers and vehicles.
Main Responsibilities
Maintain accurate driver and transport records.
Monitor tachograph records and drivers' hours compliance.
Produce weekly Missing Mileage and Lead-in/Lead-out reports.
Compile monthly vehicle usage and performance reports.
Record and manage all vehicle activity within the Clarity system.
Vehicle, Fleet & Financial Capture
Coordinate vehicle servicing, maintenance and sub-hire arrangements.
Collate service and inspection documentation as required.
Capture, validate and monitor transport-related costs.
Raise and track purchase orders in SageX3.
Reconcile supplier invoices and allocate costs accurately.
Operational & Driver Support
Support compliant transport operations in line with legal and company standards.
Maintain transport procedures and driver manuals.
Assist with driver inductions, assessments and agency onboarding.
Promote adherence to SOPs, including load security and vehicle safety.
Monitor compliance with vehicle request processes via Clarity.
Health, Safety & Incident Management
Support investigation and reporting of vehicle incidents.
Administer Health & Safety documentation and driver inductions.
Ensure compliance with H&S, corporate, client and legislative standards.
Continuous Improvement & Development
Identify opportunities to improve compliance, efficiency and cost control.
Support sustainability initiatives.
Assist with supplier SLA reviews and performance monitoring.
Support compliance across depots and company vehicle operations.
Cover & Progression
Provide limited cover for the Transport Manager as required.
Undertake training and work towards CPC qualification.

Salary
This role offers a competitive salary, dependent on experience. We operate a reward strategy based on our team members receiving a salary that best reflects their experience and skill level.
Hours of work
Normal working hours are Monday to Friday 8.30am – 5pm. On occasion you may be required to work evenings and weekends during busy periods to meet the demands of the business.
Annual leave
Our holiday entitlement is 25 days per annum (plus bank holidays and statutory public holidays).
