Biotechnology Research Scientist
About the Role:
We are seeking a highly skilled In Vivo Scientist to join our research team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in animal models and be able to design, execute, and analyze preclinical studies that drive our research programs forward.
The Key Responsibilities:
* Demonstrate expertise in a range of in vivo techniques, including dosing, surgical skills, and advanced procedures.
* Maintain compliance with relevant legislation for the care and welfare of research species.
* Support a culture of care and high standards of animal welfare.
* Ensure accurate record-keeping, including study data and animal health records.
* Produce high-quality data and reports for Study Directors, ensuring scientific integrity and quality control.
* Support training on experimental procedures and regulatory compliance.
* PARTicipate in maintaining facility sanitation, husbandry, and cage washing procedures.
Requirements:
* A degree in biology, pharmacology, or a related discipline.
* Hands-on experience in in vivo models, including dosing, surgery, welfare assessment, and ex-vivo tissue collection.
* Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities.
* A passion for making a real impact in the field of biotechnology.
* Experience in maintaining accurate scientific records and working within regulatory frameworks.
