About The Role
Motability Operations are currently recruiting for a MI Analyst to join our team in Bristol on a full-time, permanent basis. We are looking for an experienced MI Analyst to provide management information (MI) and insights to support Vehicle Remarketing (VRM) with improving performance against key metrics.
This role will build a strong understanding of the reporting needs of individual areas within VRM and provide engaging self-service solutions through Oracle Analytics (OAS). They will consistently monitor performance and proactively search for opportunities for improvement.
Key responsibilities:
1. Support operational managers within VRM to drive efficiencies and improvements against key metrics
2. Provide self-service solutions to empower business partners with visibility of key performance drivers.
3. Work closely with business partners to identify opportunities and risks; build reporting tools that provide effective controls.
4. Take a pragmatic approach to solving problems while delivering business requirements.
5. Constantly search for opportunities to improve processes and increase efficiency.
6. Consistently check and monitor the quality of reporting, flagging any issues with the underlying data to ensure data quality and resolution.
7. Support VRM initiatives to provide a view of potential and realized benefits of all initiatives and trials within Commercial Operations.
8. Assist senior management with initiative prioritization and capacity constraints.
9. Provide a governance framework across VRM to ensure high data quality and management visibility.
10. Collaborate with team leads, managers, data scientists, delivery managers, scrum masters, and stakeholders on technical delivery.
11. Identify and mitigate technical risks.
12. Act as a communication bridge between the business and MI stakeholders.
About You
You have prior experience in an MI Analyst role utilizing Oracle Analytics tools or similar data visualization software. You are experienced in working with stakeholders to identify requirements and provide MI solutions and insights. You should be comfortable working with large data sets and collaborating within a team.
Minimum criteria include:
* Experience with OAS or similar DV software, including VBA, Macros, and SQL.
* Strong analytical skills, both qualitative and quantitative.
* Experience providing self-service solutions.
* Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
* Ability to work independently, manage varied workloads, and be highly customer-focused.
* Organizational skills to prioritize tasks effectively.
