Further information on the Council and our directorates The Role: The Housing Management Team is responsible for the delivery of an efficient, effective and responsive housing management service which includes anti-social behaviour, tenancy, leaseholder and estate management, rent accounting, income advice, tenant engagement and home ownership service for all properties, within the locality, in line with council policies and procedures and ASB legislation. Key Responsibilities: ·Manage tenancies across council housing stock, ensuring effective day to day housing management ·Oversee estate management of properties and land within a defined area ·Deliver strong tenant engagement to support community relations and service delivery ·Maximise income by supporting the collection of rent, council tax and other charges ·Lead and support staff in managing neighbourhood issues, including anti-social behaviour, harassment, and tenancy breaches About You: ·Possess detailed knowledge and understanding of Housing Management ·Experience of managing staff ·Experience of improving services and managing the change ·Experience in delivering a quality customer service ·Ability to manage own workload and adapt to a changing environment and work under pressure with minimum supervision ·Good interpersonal skills and able to communicate effectively at all levels ·Ability to make rational judgements and sound decisions based on Council policy, procedure and work situations What we offer: ·A competitive salary based on your skills, experience and talent ·Hybrid and flexible working options ·An excellent local authority benefits pension scheme ·Professional development through learning opportunities, regular training sessions and apprenticeship and management schemes Further information on our Rewards and Benefits can be found here For more information on the role, please contact the Recruiting Manager Emma Fear, Emma.Fear@stoke.gov.uk Pre-Employment Checks: Any offer of employment will be subject to the successful completion of required pre-employment checks.
