Role Description
This is a full‑time, on‑site role located in Cambridge for a Development and Communications Manager. The role involves planning and executing strategic communications initiatives, managing projects related to press engagements and external relations, generating press releases, and overseeing the College’s social media presence. The Development and Communications Manager will aim to raise the College’s profile through effective communication strategies while supporting fundraising and community engagement efforts.
Qualifications
* Communication and Strategic Communications skills, with the ability to craft engaging content tailored to different audiences.
* Project Management expertise, including the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines efficiently.
* Experience in writing and distributing Press Releases that align with organizational goals and values.
* Proficiency in Social Media management, including creating and curating content for various platforms.
* Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate across teams and engage diverse stakeholders effectively.
* Knowledge of or experience in nonprofit or educational organizations is a plus.
* Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Marketing, Public Relations, or a related field is highly desirable.
