Leader Education is recruiting a Primary Teacher to work at a SEND School based in Amble. The ideal candidate will be compassionate, patient, and hold a qualified teacher status (QTS), with experience working with children in EYFS and Key Stage 1. The school caters to children with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND) and physical impairments. The role is due to start in the next 2 weeks; therefore, the candidate must have an DBS on the Update Service.
The normal working hours are Monday-Friday 8:30am to 3:30pm. This is a long-term position.

Requirements for the successful candidate:
* An enhanced Child DBS on the Update Service
* Knowledge of Education Health Care Plans (EHCPs)
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
* Qualified teacher status (QTS)
* Experience with SEND and physical impairments
* Compassionate, resilient, and patient personality
* Understanding of safeguarding and child welfare
* Familiarity with tailored interventions and programmes for children with additional needs
