Job Summary
Corrigenda are looking for an enthusiastic and dedicated hands-on Mechanical Supervisor to assist the Relationship Manager with the day-to-day service delivery of the Guildford Borough Council Contract, ensuring that contract Service Level agreements (SLA) and Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) are achieved as well as being hands-on with call outs to Mechanical works across the portfolio of sites.
The job will be based on the Guildford BC sites with occasional meetings at our Fleet office. The role involves overseeing works and managing specialist subcontractors to deliver both planned and reactive maintenance tasks. You will be responsible for conducting audits, maintaining accurate records for client inspections, and ensuring compliance with required standards. The position also requires a professional, confident approach in client-facing environments, with the ability to communicate effectively and build strong relationships with stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities Include
(but not limited to):
Assist the Relationship Manager with the daily delivery, implementation and on-going
development of each of the contracts
Deputise for Contract Manager during periods of absence Carry out site visits as required, look at works with a view to estimating time and materials
Quoting works giving detailed breakdowns while defining exclusions and limitations
Attending Client Meetings
Attending Site surveys with client
Provide information for Monthly meetings and reports.
Carry out planned and reactive maintenance across the estate (within capabilities and
training)
Work on own or as part of team to meet required deadlines and contract performance
standards
Work flexible working hours to suit business requirements
Work safely at all times, including working at height as required
Liaise with site staff to gain access to sites and rooms to carry out maintenance tasks
Liaise with sub-contractors to complete necessary repairs as required
Any other tasks required by company within skill set / experience
Minimum Requirements / Qualifications:
Essential
A suitable City and Guilds or equivalent NVQ qualification
Recognised Health & Safety training
Good written and verbal communication skills
Ability to achieve high levels of customer satisfaction
Be able to operate SMART devices and complete electronic documentation
Full UK driving licence
Pass Enhanced DBS background checks for working in schools
