Key Responsibilities Service, maintain, and repair light commercial vehicles (including vans and tippers) and light plant equipment. Conduct safety inspections and routine maintenance in accordance with relevant standards and regulations. Diagnose and rectify mechanical faults to ensure all vehicles are roadworthy and compliant. Maintain accurate records of all work completed, including service logs and defect reports. Ensure a high standard of housekeeping in the workshop and comply with health and safety procedures at all times. About You Essential: City & Guilds Level 3 in Vehicle Maintenance or equivalent qualification. Previous experience working in a vehicle workshop, ideally within a fleet environment. Strong diagnostic and repair skills on light commercial vehicles. Desirable: DVSA Nominated Tester certification for Class 4 (Class 5 & 7 highly desirable but not essential). Welding and fabricating skills (not essential but advantageous). Experience with local authority or public sector vehicle maintenance is a plus.
