Job Description:
We’re looking for a passionate Social Media Manager to join our growing Performance and Social Team. You will primarily support the management of social channels for a wide range of clients, from ideation to scheduling and reporting on content.
At Linney, we work with clients of all sizes and sectors, including household names — from beauty brands to high street food and beverage chains.
As part of the Performance and Social Team, your work will help our clients be sector leaders in social content and contribute to our vision of being industry-leading curators of online culture.
Requirements:
* A love for social content and immersion in online culture.
* Understanding of how brands should present themselves online, whether through entertainment or human-centered B2B content on LinkedIn.
* Organizational skills combined with creativity, ability to spot trends, and manage content plans with a 3-month lead time, reviewing performance regularly.
* Input into and vision for content strategies, educating the wider team on social media innovations and trends.
* Experience working with content creators and understanding social-first video content creation.
* Knowledge of social platform analytics to improve performance and provide insights in reports.
Specifics:
* Minimum of 2 years experience managing social media for brands across various sectors, with familiarity with Instagram, TikTok, LinkedIn, Facebook, Snapchat, X (formerly Twitter), and more.
* Experience in creating content calendars from ideation to presentation and execution.
* Deep understanding of online culture, social media best practices, and cultural trends.
* Copywriting skills adaptable to different tones and channels.
* Ability to manage large workloads and organize content production efficiently for maximum output and ROI.
* Experience working with diverse brands.
* Ability to shoot content with a smartphone and perform lightweight editing using CapCut or Premiere Pro.
* A pulse on trends and knowledge of how to leverage them for clients.
* Keeping up with new platforms, updates, and how to utilize them for clients, acting as a thought leader internally and externally.
