Overview
Generalist HR position supporting our Cranswick Country Foods meat production site.
Responsibilities
* Provide HR guidance, support and coaching to Supervisors and Managers covering all stages of the employee lifecycle, from attraction and recruitment through to development as well as exit.
* Hands on role supporting Managers with range of HR topics, including employee relations (disciplinaries/absence management/grievances), employee engagement and managing performance.
* Report HR KPIs, identifying trends and proactively influencing these to improve upon targets (e.g. retention, absence, turnover).
* Drive and be part of people initiatives to improve upon employee engagement and communication.
* Contribute to our HR strategy to attract, engage and progress the best people to support our business.
Qualifications
* To have previous generalist HR experience in a fast‑paced environment and enjoy partnering closely with the business to add commercial value.
* To be CIPD level 5 qualified (or working towards/willing to study).
* To be confident in your decision making and have strong interpersonal and influencing skills.
* The role will be based in Watton, Norfolk with occasional travel to our other regional sites, therefore a valid driving licence is essential.
