The role
For Nexer, content design is an important part of creating user-centred digital products and services that help people to live and work better. We're seeing more demand for our content services from our clients across multiple sectors and are looking for experienced content specialists to jump straight on to project work.
You'll be working in a multi-disciplinary team to produce content that is accessible, structured and based on user research. With experience of the full content journey and the processes that underpin it, you'll be able to plan and deliver high quality content to delight clients, help users and improve services. You'll support colleagues and clients to understand content strategy and best practice, solving problems and building trusted relationships as you go.
Your skills
* You'll be able to shape information into clear, plain English content that people can understand and use
* You'll be able to take ownership of content decisions and navigate client requests with strategic insight and positive collaboration.
* You'll be able to lead planning and content design activities and adapt your approach based on research outcomes.
* You'll be confident creating and maintaining content governance standards, patterns, and guidance to keep experiences consistent
* You'll ideally have experience of agile, user-centred ways of working and be comfortable working to deadlines with a flexible, adaptable mindset.
If you have other design-led skills from research, UX, digital transformation, user-centred design, accessibility or related disciplines, to complement your content design skills, we'd love to hear about those too
We are ideally looking for someone with a few years' experience working in a content role within an agency environment, or within a UK government/public sector role. However, if you've got the relevant content experience from a different industry or environment, we'd be keen to hear how your skills can be transferred so we'd love to hear from you too.
