About The Role
You will join a busy, upmarket hotel kitchen that serves high-quality, locally inspired dishes to a loyal customer base of holidaymakers, food lovers, and event guests. As Chef de Partie, you'll be trusted with your own section and expected to bring creativity, precision, and care to every dish. Whether plating for a wedding, weekend lunch, or evening service, consistency and quality are key.

About The Client
This is a long-established, beautifully situated coastal hotel nestled along the Gower Peninsula, known for its laid-back luxury, award-winning hospitality, and exceptional food. The team prides itself on creating memorable guest experiences, from weddings to weekend getaways, with the kitchen at the heart of it all. You will join a team that values seasonal produce, teamwork, and high standards without burnout.
Working Hours
* 5 days on, 2 days off
* 40-45 hours per week
* Staff meals provided
* Consistent, fair rota planning
* Please note: due to the location, you'll need to drive and have your own transport (there is no public transport access)
Key Duties
* Run your own section efficiently and cleanly during service
* Support the Sous and Head Chef with prep, stock, and smooth service delivery
* Contribute to menu development and seasonal specials
* Maintain high food hygiene and safety standards at all times
* Help train and guide junior kitchen staff
Key Requirements
* 2+ years experience as a CDP, or 5+ years as a Commis Chef ready to step up
* Relevant professional culinary qualifications
* Confident, calm, and reliable under pressure
* A genuine passion for food and hospitality
* Must drive and have own vehicle due to location
