Radis Community Care have an opportunity for a Care Manager to join our Rhondda team, based in Tonypandy.
About the role
As a Care Manager you will be required to schedule and allocate work to a team of Care Workers on a daily / weekly basis. You will be providing supervision and support to Care Workers and Field Supervisors. The role will involve liaising with Social Services and all other social and health care professionals involved in the care of service users. There will be also an opportunity to take part in the recruitment and selection of potential employees. The role will also involve performing duties of a Care Worker when required and participate in the out of hours on-call service, which is 1 in every 3 weekends.

Skills and Qualifications required for the role
* You will have experience providing care and support services to vulnerable adults and committed to setting and maintaining high standards in every area of work.
* The successful candidate will have an NVQ Level 3 in Health and Social Care.
* You will have the ability to set and maintain high standards of quality and professionalism in all areas of work.
* You will have good written and verbal communication skills with the ability to engage with staff, service users and outside agencies in a professional manner.
* This role requires you to undergo an enhanced DBS check.
* A driving licence with access to a vehicle will also be required for the role.
