SUPPORT WORKER – CHILDREN AND POST 16 – WEST SUSSEX – PC12 We are currently seeking experienced Support Workers to cover a variety of shifts in Children’s Residential, Post-16’s Supported Living, Mental Health Units, Homeless Hostels, and Young People's services in the West Sussex area, including but not limited to Chichester, Bognor Regis, Worthing, Horsham, and Crawley. As a Support Worker, you will have the opportunity to work with vulnerable children and young people in a wide range of settings across Hampshire. We offer flexible shift patterns, including earlies, lates, long days, sleep-ins, and waking nights, allowing you to choose the shifts that best suit your lifestyle and commitments. You can work continuously in a single project or across different projects for greater variety. Previous experience in supporting children, young people, or a similar career background is highly desirable. Our ideal candidate is emotionally resilient, patient, and empathetic, with a consistent and empathetic approach to communication. A strong understanding of Ofsted Regulations is essential. You will also need to create and maintain safe boundaries with the children and young people you support, as they may display challenging and unpredictable behaviours from time to time.
