£40,000 to £46,000, depending on experience.

The opportunity
The Technical Publications role is part of the transforming Technical Publications department at MBDA. The responsibility is to analyse, develop and deliver technical publications for MBDA’s Land Ceptor and Sea Ceptor products, working closely with internal and international teams across industry and government.
What we’re looking for from you
* Authoring specialist experienced in SGML; adaptability to other formats desirable.
* Familiarity with S1000D authoring tools, BREX, Guidance Documents, CSDB environments and associated reports.
* Capability to work with diverse teams; maintain a helpful and professional attitude.
* Provide technical expertise to ensure design teams understand publication development, production and upkeep.
* Involvement in demonstrations or process‑proving activities at alternative MBDA sites or customers’ locations, UK or overseas.
* Experience in military environment for operation and maintenance technical publications preferable.
* Skill in liaising with product suppliers and maintaining high‑standard technical reports, records.
* Willingness to travel within the UK and overseas.
