We are seeking a reliable and motivated Warehouse Worker to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring the efficient operation of our warehouse by performing various tasks related to the handling, storage, and distribution of goods. This position requires a strong attention to detail and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities
* Load and unload goods from lorries and containers.
* Perform quality control checks to ensure products meet specifications.
* Stock shelves and maintain an organised inventory.
* Supply machinery with materials to fulfil upcoming workloads.
* Operate forklifts and other warehouse equipment safely and efficiently.
* Handle materials with care to prevent damage during transportation.
* Assist in shipping and receiving processes, ensuring accurate documentation.
* Maintain cleanliness and organisation within the warehouse environment.
* Collaborate with team members to achieve daily operational goals.
Qualifications
* Previous experience in a warehouse setting is preferred but not essential.
* Familiarity with quality control processes is advantageous.
* Ability to perform heavy lifting (up to 25 kg).
* Mechanical knowledge is beneficial for operating equipment effectively.
* Strong attention to detail and organisational skills.
* Capability to work independently as well as part of a team.
* A valid forklift licence is desirable.
* Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.

Pay: £13.00-£14.00 per hour
Expected hours: No less than 39 per week
