Your Role
You will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day activities of the practices and ensuring the delivery of excellent patient experience. You will play an important role in the operational management of Health & Safety, Practice Performance and Budgetary controls in line with our goals and values.
Other duties include:
1. Taking a proactive approach to patient feedback and acting upon suggestions for improvement
2. Maintaining practice cleanliness standards and managing internal cleaning rotas
3. Maximizing the practice appointment book to effectively manage Associates’ time with patients
4. Ensuring efficient management and timely replenishment of stock
5. Delivering practice budget and associated key Performance indicators (KPIs) and overall practice profitability
6. Undertaking Reception duties when required
7. Ensuring that all cross- infection procedures are carried out in compliance with Cross infection, Decontamination and Health & Safety procedures
8. Communicating effectively with practice team members to promote a supportive working culture
9. Supporting individual performance by regular one-to-ones and providing training and support to colleagues when required
About You
10. You have relevant experience in a general practice environment and in a Practice Management role.
11. You are experienced in SOE reporting and have a good understanding of P&Ls.
12. You understand NHS schedules, claims, responses, and adjustments.
13. You have experience in people management and in working with a variety of personalities.
14. You are committed to demonstrating the highest levels of patient care.
15. You can work effectively on your own initiative as well as part of a team.
16. You have demonstrable skills in using Microsoft Office packages (particularly Excel), which would be advantageous
