## Mō tēnei tūranga mahi | About this role* Support our procurement team with your exceptional coordination skills.* Opportunity to contribute to complex procurement activity and continuous improvement across Kāinga Ora* Full time, permanent role - Wellington, Auckland or Christchurch based**Ko tā mātou mahi – Our Role**The Coordinator – Procurement plays a pivotal role supporting the Principal Procurement Partner and the wider Procurement team to deliver high‐quality procurement services across Kāinga Ora.You will be the centre of activity for the team, providing coordination, administration and reporting support across complex, high‐volume procurement programmes. This includes managing tender processes, stakeholder queries, supplier interactions, reporting, and supporting performance and continuous improvement initiatives.This role also acts as a key point of contact for information requests and supports strong engagement between the Procurement team and the Procurement Excellence team.This position is ideal for a proactive, organised and results‐focused professional who thrives in a fast‐paced environment, enjoys juggling competing priorities and is motivated by continuous improvement and quality service delivery.**Ngā pūmanawatanga ōu – What you will bring**To be successful in this role, you will ideally have:* 2–4 years’ experience in a coordination, administration or similar support role within a high‐performing team* Procurement or commercial experience (advantageous)* Excellent organisational skills with the ability to multitask and prioritise competing demands* Strong written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to convey complex information clearly and in plain language* Proven critical thinking and problem‐solving capability* Confidence working with a wide range of internal and external stakeholders* Strong capability across Microsoft Office products and willingness to learn internal systems* A proactive, enthusiastic and self‐motivated approach* Sound judgement, discretion and attention to detail* Comfort working in an environment of change and ambiguityAt Kāinga Ora, we offer a supportive and flexible working environment where your contribution matters.
