Exam Invigilators (3 Roles)
Hours; Part time, flexible hours (regular availability required)

Salary; £12.21 - £13-40 per hour plus holiday pay
Location; Rotherham College, Rotherham
The Role
We are looking for an invigilator to join our busy exams team at Rotherham College.
The role of an exam invigilator is to conduct examination invigilation by ensuring guidelines/regulations are strictly adhered to for integrity of candidates and security of examination papers/ login details before, during and after an examination session.
Duties include:
•Preparation of the exam room prior to candidates arriving including logging exam computers into the exam’s platform.
•To check the correct examination papers/login details are present.
•To liaise directly with the Exams Officer/College IT department should issues arise during the exam.
•To ensure that the right candidates attend and check photo identification.
•To explain examination conditions/rules and code of conduct to candidates before the start of the examination in line with the JCQ regulations
•To control the examination environment, appropriate reporting of incidents and ensure a fair and calm process.
•To occasionally facilitate Exams Access Arrangements.
•To ensure that examinations are kept to time and complete invigilation paperwork accurately.
•To control access to the examination room.
You will…
Have excellent organisational, time keeping and customer service skills
Be conscientious and have good attention to detail
Good IT skills - essential for utilisation of online platforms, downloading and uploading online tests.
Be available to work daytime and/or evenings on a sessional basis.
Hold a Level 2 (or equivalent) qualification in English and Maths (or be willing to undertake).
Work will be offered as and when required and there may be more hours at peak times.
