Robert Half has partnered up with a fast-growing energy supplier. The business has a young and dynamic culture, with a leadership team that genuinely values HR as a strategic function. As part of ongoing growth, the HR team is being strengthened with the addition of an HR Advisor.
This is a hands-on HR Advisor role offering strong exposure to employee relations. It is an excellent opportunity for someone with a solid HR foundation who is ambitious and keen to progress into a HR Business Partner role.
HR Advisor
Location: South West London (Hybrid – 3 days in office)
Contract: Full time | permanent
The Role
Reporting into the HR Manager and working closely with the HR Business Partner, you will act as a visible and approachable first point of contact for HR across the business, while owning core HR coordination and administration.
This is not a purely administrative role. It requires confidence, curiosity and the ability to engage proactively with stakeholders in a fast-paced, high-growth environment.
Key Responsibilities
* Act as the first point of contact for HR queries across the business
* Own and coordinate end-to-end HR administration and employee lifecycle processes
* Maintain accurate HR records, documentation and reporting
* Provide first-line support on employee relations matters, escalating complex cases where required
* Support investigations, including note-taking and preparation of ER documentation
* Own payroll administration (experience required; automation exposure beneficial)
* Support performance management processes, including probation reviews and development conversations
* Prepare clear, well-presented people data and reports to support decision-making
* Support wider HR initiatives and projects on an ad-hoc basis
Candidate Profile
Essential:
* Proven experience in a HR Coordinator or HR Advisor role
* Strong written communication skills, particularly for policies and ER documentation
* Good understanding of core HR processes and UK employment law
* High energy, ambition and a clear desire to progress
* Confident, personable and comfortable working in a vibrant
Desirable:
* Experience in a generalist HR role
* Payroll experience
* University degree
* Background in a private-sector
* Exposure to people reporting and metrics
