Our sales function is predominantly split into our Ancillaries and Utilities Teams, our Utilities Team focuses on Enterprise customers in the Utilities Sectors, whereas the Ancillaries Team is responsible for our resale and direct business channels.
Our Utilities Team are looking for an Enterprise Account Manager
Role Overview
We are seeking an experienced Enterprise Account Manager to oversee and grow relationships with our largest clients in the gas industry. This role is critical in ensuring that client engineers have the right equipment, at the right time, to maintain and service gas assets effectively. You will act as the primary point of contact for operational needs, while also managing a small team to deliver exceptional service.
Key Responsibilities
* Manage and develop strategic relationships with large enterprise accounts in the gas sector.
* Serve as the main liaison for client engineers, ensuring timely delivery of equipment and solutions.
* Understand client operational requirements and proactively anticipate their needs.
* Coordinate with internal teams to guarantee accurate stock levels and on-time fulfilment.
* Lead and mentor two direct reports, providing guidance and performance management.
* Monitor account performance, identify growth opportunities, and implement improvement plans.
* Maintain strong knowledge of gas industry equipment and compliance standards.
* Prepare regular reports on account activity, service levels, and customer satisfaction.
Skills & Experience Required
* Proven experience in account management, ideally with enterprise-level clients.
* Strong understanding of the gas industry and associated equipment.
* Excellent communication and relationship-building skills, particularly with technical teams.
* Ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver under pressure.
* Leadership experience with direct reports.
* Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
Preferred Qualifications
* Background in industrial supply or asset maintenance sectors.
* Knowledge of health and safety standards in the gas industry.
* Commercial acumen and negotiation skills.
