Be part of a team delivering high‑quality new housing development projects in Bristol’s council homes development programme.
What will I be doing?
* Support delivery of new housing developments on council-owned land across the entire development lifecycle.
* Collaborate closely with a Housing Development Manager or Construction Manager on feasibility, design, planning, construction and handover.
* Participate in a small team delivering feasibility studies, viability appraisals, planning applications, contractor appointments, on‑site delivery and handover.
* Secure detailed planning consents on multiple, complex residential developments.
* Develop financial appraisals in partnership with funders to ensure feasibility and viability of proposals.
Experience and Skills?
* Demonstrable housing development experience with a track record of contributing to successful projects.
* Experience collaborating with stakeholders, consultants and contractors in multidisciplinary teams.
* Relevant professional qualification preferred (e.g., Housing, Construction, Planning).
* Experience working within a Local Authority, Housing Association or similar environment is beneficial but not essential.
