Salary up to £65,000 (depending on experience & qualifications) £5,000 car allowance paid mileage 35 days annual leave, with loyalty days at 2 & 5 years Private medical insurance, 24/7 GP access, Medicash plan Gym discounts cashback on dental/optical treatments £1,000 referral bonuses monthly staff recognition awards Pension contributions life assurance (2x salary) High street, lifestyle & leisure discounts Ongoing coaching, leadership development, and clear career pathways About the Organisation A leading provider of therapeutic and assessment-based residential care for children with complex trauma and behavioural needs Services are primarily solo or small-scale placements, designed to provide intensive support and stability Expanding rapidly across the Northeast, with multiple new homes opening this year Known for a values-led culture: Collaboration, Adaptability, Respect, Empathy About the Role Lead the mobilisation of new residential services across the region, ensuring deadlines are met Act as Responsible Individual (RI) for services when required Mentor and support Registered Managers and peripatetic management teams Ensure all services meet Ofsted standards and regulatory frameworks Drive operational performance - budgets, KPIs, and service development Collaborate with clinical, education, and outdoor teams to deliver holistic care Build and maintain strong relationships with Ofsted, local authorities, and external stakeholders Champion trauma-informed, child-first care across all new and existing services Requirements Level 5 Diploma in Leadership for Health & Social Care and Children & Young People's Services (or equivalent) At least 6 years' residential childcare experience with complex needs Minimum 4 years' management experience in a children's care environment Strong understanding of Ofsted, SCCIF, safeguarding, and regulatory frameworks Experience in mobilising or leading new services highly desirable Proven ability to manage budgets, deliver performance, and embed culture Collaborative leader with excellent communication and coaching skills Full UK driving licence flexibility to travel across the region Interested?
