We’re working with a respected NHS service in North Wales to recruit a highly organised and proactive Medical Secretary to support a busy Health department! This is a key role within a multidisciplinary team, offering the opportunity to make a real impact on patient care and service delivery. The Role As a senior member of the administration team, you’ll provide a comprehensive, confidential, and high-quality secretarial service to consultants, junior doctors, specialist nurses, and other healthcare professionals. You’ll play a pivotal role in ensuring the smooth running of the department and supporting the wider clinical team. Key responsibilities include: Managing complex patient pathways in line with protocols Coordinating appointments, admissions, and clinical correspondence Producing accurate reports and statistics to support service delivery Attending and contributing to meetings, including minute-taking ✅ What I'm Looking For Proven experience in a medical secretarial or senior administrative role within the NHS or healthcare setting Excellent communication and organisational skills Strong knowledge of medical terminology and patient administration systems Ability to work autonomously and manage competing priorities Immediate availability Location & Working Pattern Based in North Wales – easily commutable from Chester, Wrexham, and surrounding areas Full-time, Monday to Friday Hybrid work may be considered following training and service needs.
