Job Description:
An exciting opportunity has become available within the Digital and Information directorate within NHS Fife. We are looking for an engaging individual with a great ability to convey information in a supportive manner and a keen interest in supporting others to learn.
The role of Digital and Information Trainer will focus on delivering training on digital systems to service users and staff. You will be involved in the full lifecycle of training, from determining training needs to creating and delivering training, whilst identifying ways to keep improving the training offered. You will develop and provide a range of training materials to enable standardised training programmes, providing a self-help approach to user training. Working with the Strategy and Programmes team to ensure all training materials are developed in a standardised format.
NHS Fife is ambitious in developing its strategies and frameworks to support organisational change and modernise service delivery through digital for the benefit of staff, patients, carers, and the public. This post will act as an exemplary advocate of this agenda.
You must be able to travel throughout Fife and across Scotland as required, and you should be able to flex working hours to meet the needs of training delivery.

To work in the UK, you must demonstrate that you have the relevant permission to work, granted by the UK Visa and Immigration Service. NHS Scotland Boards will check your entitlement to work as part of pre-employment checks, which can be evidenced through various routes including visas and settled status. For specific posts, if you lack the necessary eligibility to work in the UK, sponsorship via a UK Skilled Worker/Health & Care Worker Visa might be possible, provided the employer is a licensed sponsor and the post meets salary thresholds. Check eligibility before submitting your application.
Due to legislative changes from 1 April 2025, this post may require a different level of criminal records check. If the role is 'regulated', appointment will be subject to the PVG Scheme. Further details can be found on the Disclosure Scotland website.
We offer flexible working, family-friendly policies, and support for disabled candidates, including reasonable adjustments during recruitment.
